Amalfi Pasta Makers – The Pasta of the Coast

Long before dried pasta became famous throughout Italy, Amalfi was already one of its most important production centers.

During the 19th century and the early 1900s, Amalfi’s pasta makers dried pasta outdoors along the sunny streets of the coast. Long strands of spaghetti and macaroni swayed in the sea breeze, creating a scene that became a symbol of the town.

This artwork, pays tribute to the craftsmen who helped make the famous “Pasta della Costa” known around the world.

A celebration of tradition, craftsmanship, and Amalfi’s heritage.
